Total needed £200M is in arrears for electricity, gas and Council Tax. She is struggling to keep on top of her bills, but is managing. However, her washing machine has stopped working and is beyond repair. A replacement would make a big difference to M, due to the convenience it would offer.

She receives support from Change Grow Live (CGL) and we have worked with Kirklees Housing to manage her previous rent arrears. L has now been offered a new property, but has very little furniture to move in. She would like a double bed with a mattress and a microwave to help her get started. After paying her arrears, L is unable to afford anything. Her partner also supports her and will be staying over frequently.

Total needed £200This lady has been assigned from refugee to asylum seeker, which has meant a change in accommodation and benefits with very little notice. Mum and her two year old daughter have been given a room with no storage space, therefore, they need six weeks storage of their possessions, such as daughters toys, kitchen equipment etc. Mum, who is being supported by our family project, as she is being treated for throat cancer, gave birth the day she arrived in the UK, and dad has only just been given a visa to come to the UK.

Total needed £145A is a refugee who has just been granted leave to remain in the UK. This means that he has to leave his temporary accommodation immediately. A has secured a tenancy of his own, but it is unfurnished. He fled his home country with nothing and has not been able to work whilst his refugee claim was assessed. A has no savings, is on a low income and can't afford to furnish his flat. His most urgent need is for a washing machine so that he can keep his clothes and bedding clean.

D is unable to work, due to mental health issues, and his only income is Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. D would appreciate your help with a replacement fridge freezer, as he is unable to afford this himself. Thank you.

She is isolated in the UK, previously being street homeless, and has no older relatives in the UK that can support her. Mum's son has a number of physical and learning disabilities and the family receives less than its benefit entitlement, due to immigration status. They live in hostel accommodation and find it very difficult to eat on the sofa. Mum would love a small table and chairs to help make things easier at meal times.

Mum is self-employed, but only able to work twenty six hours a week, as she has to look after her daughter, and is struggling to make ends meet. H's fridge has broken down and she can't afford to repair it, which means she can't keep fresh food safely and is struggling to eat healthily or affordably. Your support to replace the fridge would be greatly appreciated.

She was not able to bring any of her possessions with her, and has very little income of her own. L would really value your support in purchasing a few items of clothing, as well as a vacuum cleaner so that she can look after her new flat which she really likes.

S's fridge freezer has just broken beyond repair and she can't afford to replace it.

They are in receipt of Universal Credit, but are receiving support from Christians Against Poverty for debt issues. The teenage children are finding sleeping difficult and weighted blankets have been recommended to help with this. They need two adult size large blankets and those recommended are £70 each. The family cannot afford them in their current financial situation.
