Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

J is a fifty one year old refugee who has fled abuse in her country of origin. Tragically, she lost her three children in a fire and this trauma, as well as health problems and homelessness, has been making life very difficult for her. J has now been given temporary accommodation, but has few belongings and needs basic kitchen equipment, bedding, a warm coat and waterproof shoes. This would help J begin to rebuild her life here and she would be delighted with any help you can give.

Total needed £200J is a single lady who has been living in a safe house for over a year, due to escaping domestic violence. She has now got her own home, but it is unfurnished. J suffers with anxiety disorder as a result of the domestic violence, and also broke her leg a year ago, which hasn't healed so she walks on crutches. She is, therefore, unable to work, as she did, and is now dependent on benefits with no savings. Riviera Life church has provided kitchen essentials and bedding, but J has no cooker and would be grateful for any help.

We are helping her get back on her feet, after this traumatic situation, with food parcels and she is working with us to help her with her debt. This individual is on a low income at the moment and does not have a cooker. Please can you consider giving to this need so that we can help this lady with the basic need of a cooker?

Total needed £200This mum, who has three children, is rebuilding her home and life after fleeing domestic abuse. She is an amazing caring Christian who is always looking out for others. Mum set up a community meal and toddler group as well as working part-time and caring for her children. I found out that she hadn't had a fridge freezer for six months as it broke beyond repair and she hasn't been able to afford a new one. It would be wonderful to bless this mum who is such a blessing to many others.
