£0 remaining for a washing machine
N is a veteran who is paralysed, due to two broken discs. He lives in warden controlled accommodation and his family sometimes come to help him. N's washing machine has broken beyond repair and, sadly, there isn't anyone prepared to take his washing to the launderette for him. He came in very anxious about not having access to a washing machine. There are lots of other issues we need to unravel for N, but if we can meet this immediate need, it will enable us to start doing this.
C is currently living in a two bedroomed house with her daughters, but there are no floor coverings anywhere in the house. Due to the condition of her property, Social Services has removed her children and given her an action plan to enable her to get them back. This includes carpeting the house and C will never be able to do this without help, as her only income is Universal Credit and she has no savings. Please can you help us to bring this family back together?
Our client is currently on long term sick, due to her medical conditions, including fibromyalgia and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She owns her property and has issues with penetrating damp. The costs of the works, in addition to the cost of scaffolding, is unobtainable for our client as she is reliant on benefits, due to her health conditions. A dehumidifier would help to combat the high humidity which is exacerbating her health conditions and help her to maintain a healthy living environment.
C, a refugee who is disabled and lives alone, receives Universal Credit. She recently got a council home and needs your generous donation to obtain a washing machine. With the moving costs and getting other essential furniture for her house, C could not afford this extra expense. Your donations will be massively helpful for her.
