May Prayer Bulletin

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us- whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

Our Fresh Start Appeal over Easter saw over £12,000 given to 100 individuals who were in need of a helping hand to gain a new beginning. Please do pray that this small gift makes a big difference to those who have been directly helped by our donors during this appeal.

We're thankful that Emma Revie, CEO of The Trussell Trust, has accepted our invitation to speak at our Giving Hope Together event on 17th May. Emma will give a snapshot of poverty in the UK, and how charities, like Acts 435, are stepping into the gap.

An opportunity to share with Christ Central (New Frontiers) church leaders in June. Please begin to pray for good conversations and lots of fruit to come from this.

The 508 individuals and families who have been helped in April by Acts 435 Advocates and donors with £73,530 distributed to those who need it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our team as we connect with those who are Acts 435 Advocates in the same network of charities or church denominations. Please pray that our partners from these networks will be inspired to share our work, and can provide helpful ideas of how we can engage with their network further.

Our staff team, and board of trustees, as we discuss next steps to ensure that we're keeping the balance of requests and donations. We're continuing to discuss and pray about different ways to attract new donors, and engage with our partners.

An amazing opportunity that we have been given to input into a story with BBC national news - please pray that we can find the right individual to share their story.
