April Prayer Bulletin

[...] fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

I hope that you had a very blessed Easter weekend, and enjoyed celebrating all that Jesus has done for us. As a charity we have continued to see much generosity from our supporters this Easter, and we have seen 92 requests met that will enable a fresh start for someone escaping domestic violence, someone starting again in a new country, or for other new beginnings.

We have received a lot of prayer requests in the last month, all for Acts 435 recipients facing difficult situations such as ill-health, domestic violence or debt. As we're only able to include some of these in our bulletin, we would ask that you lift up all of those seeking our help, and their situations.

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

The 92 individuals and families that we were able to help, with nearly £15,000, through our Fresh Start campaign this Easter. Please pray that these individuals will be enabled to have the fresh start that they are needing.

Being able to re-connect with the CEO of the Church Urban Fund, and explore how we can effectively engage with their Together Networks. Please pray for wisdom as we seek to do this.

Connections that were made at the Ekklesia conference in March. Please pray for fruit from these connections, and that churches will follow-up on partnering with us.

An opportunity to share on Hope FM, and their listeners, on Easter Monday. Please pray that many individuals will be drawn to our website to donate but also that churches and charities will consider partnering with us. You can listen to the interview here.

The 573 individuals and families who have been helped in March by Acts 435 Advocates and donors with £92,085 distributed to those who need it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our staff team as we look to promote Acts 435 as a resource to local churches and charities in different areas each month during 2024; pray for connections in Leicester this month, but please also pray for all the new connections made in Blackpool in March.

Jenny, our Executive Director, as she speaks to churches in the Rochester Diocese online on the 18th April.

More interest from churches and charities who want to partner with us. Please pray for our staff team as we seek more opportunities to speak to more churches and charities, and that these connections will enable us to help more individuals and families who are in need.

Our team as we prepare the materials for the Big Church Festival in May. Please pray that we can have the right resources to engage individuals and families with our work.

As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

Best wishes,
Katie
