March Prayer Bulletin

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely

Psalm 139:1-6

It might be March but this last weekend felt a lot like Christmas for us as a charity! We received such generosity from donors that all the requests on our website were met on Sunday. This normally only happens in the lead up to Christmas, when generosity is often higher. We're very thankful for God's provision at this time, which has enabled us to help more individuals than we would normally be able to at the beginning of the year.

This year one of our areas of focus as a charity is to grow our partner network in specific parts of the country that we have identified as having a high level of deprivation, but where we have few local partners. In March we're focusing on finding new partners in Blackpool, so please do pray for new and existing contacts in this region to bear fruit for new partner churches and charities.

We are very thankful to God for:

The 50,000 individuals we have been able to help over the last 14 years of our work as a charity. We're thankful to have helped this huge amount of individuals and families in their time of crisis or hardship.

The seven new partners that joined us in February who are now resourced to help individuals in their community. Please pray that they will quickly be able to help those that they are meeting, and find ways of reaching out further into their communities.

The 560 individuals and families who have been helped in February by Acts 435 Advocates and donors with £91,160 distributed to those who need it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our staff team as we look to promote Acts 435 as a resource to local churches and charities in different areas each month during 2024; pray for connections in Blackpool this month, but please also pray for all the new connections made in Lincolnshire in February.

Jenny, our Executive Director, as she speaks at Ekklesia Conference on 13th March. Please pray for her preparations, and for individuals to be inspired to support our work and partner with us.

Lots of opportunities to talk about our work, including speaking to a hub of churches in the Rochester Diocese, a radio interview on the South Coast, as well as our usual online coffee mornings for those new to our work.

Our new Speaker Team who have stepped up to share the word about Acts 435 to other churches and organisations. Please pray that we have more churches approach us about having a speaker attend their service or event, and that we see more donors find our website in this way.

As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

Best wishes,

Katie
